Turkish sports portal Fanatik.com has reported that Luiz Felipe is in the sights of Turkish club Galatasaray. The 21-year-old biancoceleste defender, who has been used a lot less compared to the last season, is said to have attracted the attention of the club from Istanbul. A deal could potentially be completed in January on the basis of a loan with a right of redemption set at €8 million, however, it would be difficult for Simone Inzaghi’s side. Allowing a defender to leave would even further deplete the squad of defenders. Unless Lazio are able to obtain a new signing, the departure of Luiz Felipe looks unlikely; for now Galatasaray tries.
Luiz Felipe has made 12 appearances so far this season – eight in the Serie A TIM and four in the Europa League. All of these appearances have been starts except for one that came off the bench in the championship.
