Less than two days remain until the opening of the transfer market. From January 3rd, 2019, purchases and sales can be accomplished; for Lazio, the latter seems to be the primary goal. With several ‘fringe’ players who have not impressed or are not obtaining much playing time – one way or another someone is frustrated. One of the first names on the list is that of 21-year-old striker Alessandro Rossi, who has only played 47 minutes of football this campaign. Reports have suggested that a loan deal with Pescara is on the cards and today, President Daniele Sebastiani of the Serie B side has confirmed the rumors. To Rete8, he stated: “The transfer market? We must try not to make mistakes, even if you can hardly find something important. We need to do targeted things and get players who are prepared and ready to help us, we have already met with the coach and we have talked. If Cocco leaves, a new striker will come in.” Therefore, if anything, Rossi’s move to Pescara is dependant on Cocco.
