Report: Alessandro Rossi set to join Pescara on loan

Young Italian striker Alessandro Rossi has not been given too much space in Lazio this season. Halfway through the year, he has only made two appearances; they both came in the Europa League for a total of 47 minutes. To not further hinder his development, the Biancoceleste are said to be willing to allow the 21-year-old to leave on loan for the remainder of the season. Tutto Pescara Calcio claims that President Claudio Lotito has approved Alessandro Rossi’s prospective loan move to the Serie B and that in addition, the young striker will also prolong his contract with Lazio in the next few days.

At Pescara, former Lazio midfielder Luca Crecco is present – he transferred to the club this past summer which can be an additional factor in the move. The club currently sits in third place behind Brescia and Palermo with 32 points; they have scored 29 goals whilst conceding 23.
