A day into the winter transfer market, Lazio have almost already completed a deal: the sale of Uruguayan defender Martin Caceres to Parma. Joining the club in January of 2018 from Hellas Verona, the player has failed to convince Simone Inzaghi of his talents, even after a proper World Cup showing. He continues to remain a bench player for the Biancoceleste, whilst a starter for his country on international duty. As a result, Caceres is trying to force a move away to become a regular in a side. With the returning Serie A club, the deal for the ex-Juventus center-back is in its final stages and the last details will be resolved in the coming days, with the defender set to sign a contract until 2020 with the Gialloblu.
