According to what has been reported by CittaCelesteLazio have opened contract talks with Beppe Riso, the agent of Italian midfielder Danilo Cataldi. Cataldi’s current contract expires in the summer of 2020 but Lazio are keen to extend this, having faith in the central midfielder after recent signs of maturity.

Riso, as per the reports, has already opened communications with Igli Tare, the sporting director at Lazio, and the two parties are said to be optimistic about coming to an agreement. Cataldi stayed on the Lazio books this season, instead of going out on loan, and has had a mixed bag of performances so far in the 18/19 season.

Cataldi has played 185 minutes for the Biancocelesti in Serie A this season, starting just once and coming on as a substitute on 3 occasions. In those minutes, Cataldi has scored one and assisted one – both coming against Spal on the 4th of November. Cataldi has featured in the Europa League too; featuring four times for the Biancocelesti in Europe.
