According to what has been reported by LazioChannel.it, Valon Berisha is somewhat concerned about his rough start to life at Lazio; and has asked the club management for more chances or a move elsewhere. Berisha, whose first couple of months with the club were marred by an injury, picked up form before suffering yet another injury and his physical condition has suffered as a result of it.
Igli Tare reportedly has no intention of making Valon Berisha one of the names to depart Lazio this month and, therefore, it looks like the club will have no option but to field the Kosovar more in the coming months. Luckily, Berisha is a real talent and forcing himself into the squad may benefit the side in the long-run.
The only possible issue is that Berisha faces a lot of competition in the central midfield position, with Marco Parolo, Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Lucas Leiva, Milan Badelj, Alessandro Murgia and Danilo Cataldi all able to fill the role. Lazio will have to part ways with at least one of their midfielders this January; whether on loan or permanently is another matter.
