Giovanni Di Lorenzo of Empoli is the latest player linked to Lazio. Speaking to Radio Radio microphones, the president of the Tuscan club, Fabrizio Corsi, commented on the interest from the Biancocelesti: “Di Lorenzo to Lazio? They asked us about the player this past summer. We decided that he would be an Empoli player this year, but in June we could find a different arrangement”. Di Lorenzo has made 19 appearances for the side in all competitions this season, all as a right-back. This shows how reliable and important he is to the side; he has missed just one match due to a yellow card suspension. Now 25-years of age, the Italian joined the Azzurri from SS Matera Calcio in the summer of 2017 and is capable of playing as a center-back or right-wing back if needed.
