The latest on the Lazio squad: Wallace and Correa to be evaluated

The 24 hours of rest granted by Simone Inzaghi to the team is almost over. The return to training at the Formello for Lazio is scheduled for tomorrow afternoon at 15.00, where the players will meet again to start preparing the long-awaited match against Napoli.

For this first match of the second half of the season, Adam Marusic will be unavailable: after his red card in the match against Torino, he was sentenced to miss two rounds by the sporting judge – this means that he will also not play against Juventus. On top of everything, Marusic was injured in the clash against Novara in the Coppa Italia this past weekend. However, due to his suspension, he will have ample time to recover for the match against Frosinone. Taking his place on the right should be Senad Lulic, who has been given the trials that have seen him as a protagonist in recent days. On the left, therefore, it will be a run-off between Jordan Lukaku and Riza Durmisi, with the Belgian having the good advantage at the moment. A few more indications could arrive on Wednesday when a double training session will occur.

In addition to Marusic,  the conditions of two other players will also be assessed. These are Joaquin Correa, who should be back with the group shortly as he was only stopped sickness, and  Wallace, who has a problem with his left knee. It should not be anything serious, as he only missed the match against Novara as a precaution.
