According to what has been reported by Sportitalia, Lazio have not given up about Wesley Moraes – with the Club Brugge forward still linked to the club after the initial reports in the summer. TheLaziali.com have had constant contact with Moraes’ agent, Paulo Nehmy, who recently reiterated that Lazio were still keen but that the competition was more intense now – with Arsenal thought to have been one of the clubs keen, as well as an unnamed Chinese Super League club.
Sportitalia suggest that Brugge value Wesley Moraes at €20-€22m, increased compared to the 15m he was valued at in the summer. Moraes is said to be keen on a move to Lazio and even more so if the Biancocelesti manage to qualify for the Champions League.
Right now, the reports suggest that Lazio are working with Brugge towards an agreement for the summer, when Brugge have apt time to find a replacement and Lazio have the funds to complete the deal.
