According to what has been reported by Spanish sports outlet Mundo Deportivo, La Liga outfit Levante have submitted an offer for Lazio’s Angolan centre-back Bastos. The defender, 27, is being linked with the Spanish side as Lazio continue to await departures in this transfer window.
The reports suggest that the offer, of an undisclosed amount, is being evaluated by the Biancocelesti – with no further details present about the possible departure of Bastos. Lazio fans expected one of either Bastos or Wallace to be sold, potentially even both, but a deal for the Angolan may see Wallace keep his place in the team for the time being.
Lazio are in dire need of additions, specifically at the right wing-back position but first must offload deadweight which can free up funds both within the transfer and wage budgets at the club.
