Lazio were unlucky to fall to a 2-1 defeat to Serie A leaders Juventus yesterday evening, as the Bianconeri came back from behind to win it late-on. Goals from Joao Cancelo and a penalty kick from Cristiano Ronaldo overturned Emre Can’s own goal and Juventus extend their unbeaten Serie A campaign. Speaking to Sky Sport after the game, Juventus legend Alessandro Del Piero took time to praise the Biancocelesti’s performance:
“I want to emphasise that Lazio put in a super performance and were perfect in every single situation. They played with a personality that no team in Italy has fielded, with great determination in one against one.”
