According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio have secured the signing of Argentine defender Tiago Casasola. Currently playing for Salernitana in the Serie B, there will be a decisive meeting between Igli Tare and Nunzio Marchione – the agent of the player – that will take place tomorrow in Milan.
The agreement between Lazio and Salernitana has already been formalized, but it remains to be seen whether the player will move immediately or in June. For Tare, this is a strongly desired operation, one of which has been spoken about for almost a year.
The sporting director has in fact followed Casasola since his landing in Italy, when he was signed by Walter Sabatini at Roma in August of 2015, coming from Fulham. A right-footed central defender able to adapt to the role of full-back, Casasola has eight appearances for the Argentine U17 national team and nine appearances for the Argentine U20 National team.
