As reported tonight on the calciomercato show by Gianluca Di Marzio, Dalian Yifang Football Club have made a serious attempt to try and sign Ciro Immobile. The Chinese club – who currently have Yannick Carrasco and Nico Gaitán on their roster – finished in the eleventh spot in the Chinese Super League last season. With just 35 points in 30 matches, and Carrasco potentially on his way back to Europe, it looks as if Dalian are lining up a big name signing.
Lazio’s Italian prolific scorer was subject of a 60 million euro bid: however, this offer was declined by the player and the club without hesitation, as Immobile looks to remain in Europe and Claudio Lotito looks to keep hold of his prized possession. We are yet to see if another offer will be made – if the offer rises, a decision will have to be made.
Torino were also approached for their Italian captain Andrea Belotti: “We have received an important offer for Andrea, but President Cairo has blocked everything”, stated Gianluca Petrachi. They were offered 50 million euros for the player, however, they declined as well.
