According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Lazio have secured the signing of Argentine defender Tiago Casasola. Currently playing for Salernitana in the Serie B, there was a decisive meeting between Igli Tare and Nunzio Marchione – the agent of the player – yesterday and it looks like if the discussions went very smoothly.
The agreement between Lazio and Salernitana had already been formalized, but it remained to be seen whether the player would move immediately or in June – it is the latter of the two. Tare has followed Casasola since his arrival in Italy, when he was signed by Walter Sabatini at Roma in August of 2015, coming from Fulham. A right-footed central defender able to adapt to the role of full-back, Casasola has eight appearances for the Argentine U17 national team and nine appearances for the Argentine U20 National team.
