Report: Parma acquire Sprocati on permanent deal

Lazio have had a busy winter transfer window and it continues with their sale of on-loan winger Mattia Sprocati. The 25-year-old arrived from Salernitana last summer but failed to break into Simone Inzaghi’s squad and was subsequently loaned out to newly promoted side Parma. Now, according to alfredopedulla.com, Parma has taken up their option to buy winger Sprocati from the Biancoceleste. This move makes sense for both sides as the Italian is unlikely to gain the quality to break into Lazio’s first team and Parma just sent winger Antonio Di Gaudio to Hellas Verona, with a potential obligation to buy, during this window and needed to secure his replacement.
