Joaquin Correa and Wallace: Injury update on Lazio duo

Lazio may have bested Inter in the Coppa Italia midweek, but the victory has brought with it some smaller issues. Both Joaquín Correa and Wallace left the pitch with muscle problems and will be going through tests today and tomorrow to determine the seriousness of the injuries.

Furthermore, Jordan Lukaku is back in Italy after his trip to England, after his loan to Newcastle fell through last week. The Belgium international is still suffering from hamstring injuries and so is training separate from the main squad. In other injury news, Patric has returned to training today with the main squad after dealing with muscular discomfort.

Finally, it’s hoped that centre-back Luiz Felipe will be ready for the first game vs Sevilla in the Europa League, as the medical staff at Lazio attempt to get him match fit over the next 2 weeks. He is currently suffering from hamstring injuries. All hands on deck with the Lazio medical team to have Joaquin Correa, Luiz Felipe and Wallace back as soon as possible, to help cope with further fitness worries and suspensions.
