Romulo signed for Lazio on loan from Genoa, with an option to buy included. The midfielder and full-back moved on deadline day; just one of two signings, along with Salernitana’s Casasola. Speaking on the addition of Romulo, as well as reflecting on the Coppa Italia victory over Inter Milan on penalties, former Lazio midfielder Antonio Lopez spoke to Lazio Style Radio:

The tackle of Asamoah on Milinkovic should have led to him being expelled, I did not understand the change of decision, the player attempted to hurt his opponent. Leiva played a monstrous role, the team grows with his presence. Inzaghi had the courage to insert many offensive players.
“Romulo? A player who completes the roster available to Mr. Inzaghi. The Brazilian will be useful not only in the league, but also in the Italian Cup and in the Europa League.”
