Ciro Immobile, as one of the most prolific forwards in Serie A, has been a target of a number of clubs since he really started scoring goals for Lazio. In the summer, it was Tottenham Hotspur and AS Monaco who were circling around the Italian; whilst in recent weeks it has been Napoli and Liverpool, as well as interest from China.
One of the Chinese clubs interested in Immobile is Dalian Yifang; where Yannick Carrasco plays and Marek Hamsik is moving to from Napoli. Dalian reportedly had a €60m offer for Immobile rejected by Lazio, who seem intent on keeping their forward. Speaking to Sky Sport 24, Immobile’s agent, Alessandro Moggi, said the following:
“There was a very light risk of him leaving, Lazio does not think to deprive itself of Ciro, who is very good for Lazio. It is normal that he is followed by many clubs around the world. Should any offer arise again? I do not know if it will happen again, but without doubt it would be returned to sender.”
