After Lazio’s Primavera side drew 2-2 with Benevento earlier, Alessio Bianchi, who scored the Biancocelesti’s equalising goal from the penalty spot, spoke to Lazio Style Channel; reflecting on the result and commenting on the club’s upcoming clash with Ascoli, who sit just behind them in their group’s table.

“These are two points lost, if we look at our goals, but it is a point earned for how the game turned out. It was fortunate that Benevento missed their penalty moments away from full-time. We gave our all in the comeback to recover after going two down before the break. We have made individual mistakes that the coach will show us.

“In Ascoli it will be a battle because they will certainly want to win at home. Here I feel good, the boys have always helped me, today I scored my first goal but it is a pity not to have brought home the three points. I dedicated the goal to my family who were not present today and followed me from a distance. In the first half I held too much of the ball, I have intercepted some balls, I will have to work to be faster.”
