Lazio are set to host Sevilla on Thursday, as the UEFA Europa League returns for the round of 32. Lazio, finishing 2nd in their group to Eintracht Frankfurt, find themselves with a tricky test against a club who have won the tournament recently, as well as a high performing team in La Liga with a capable squad. Sevilla battled back from 2-0 down at home with 10-men to draw 2-2 with Eibar on Sunday evening, with forward Wissam Ben Yedder saving the day for the Spanish outfit. Speaking to the club’s official microphones after the match, Ben Yedder reflected on the match, as well as commenting on the upcoming clash with Lazio in Rome:
“I’m happy for the goal, in the end we believe we can win, we are a team that does not give up.”
“Lazio? We have to concentrate on the next game and find a good result away from home, so we can start again at home.”
