According to what has been reported by the Gazzetta dello Sport, former Lazio winger and current Inter Milan forward Keita Balde bid €6000 for a pair of Francesco Totti’s boots at a charity gala promoted by Alessandro Moggi to raise money for those affected by the collapse of the Morandi bridge in Genoa.
‘United for Genoa’ has raised €115,000 so far for the families and loved ones of those who tragically lost their lives in the tragedy, as well as to provide support for those affected in other ways.
Keita Balde did, however, fail to win the auction for the former Roma icon’s boots; losing out to Antonio Romei, the current Vice President of Sampdoria, who was born in Roma and is a known Romanista.
