Lazio prepare to travel to Spain to take on La Liga outfit Sevilla tomorrow evening in the 2nd leg of their Europa League clash. The first leg finished 1-0 to a travelling Sevilla in the Stadio Olimpico, a depleted Lazio side suffering as a result of a lack of squad depth and one too many injuries. However, positive news comes today as Marco Parolo, Luis Alberto and Sergej Milinkovic-Savic all look set to be included in the squad for the match.
At first, Luis Alberto was thought to be out for up to six weeks but later tests have revealed the injury is not as serious as first thought, therefore he is likely to star from the bench. Parolo’s injury, suffered against Sevilla last week, was also not as serious as anticipated and the Italian midfielder simply sprained his ankle. Therefore, Parolo too is expected back for tomorrow’s game, likely to start from the first minute.
Milinkovic-Savic returns from an injury that initially expected him to be out till March. However, a quicker return and progress in training means that the Serbian midfielder will be available for Inzaghi in Spain and will likely be deployed also from the first minute.
Expected XI: Strakosha; Patric, Acerbi, Radu; Marusic, Milinkovic, Leiva, Parolo, Lulic; Correa, Immobile.
Subs: Proto, Durmisi, Cataldi, Romulo, Badelj, Luis Alberto, Caicedo.
