Lazio have arrived in Spain ahead of the second leg of their Europa League clash against Sevilla. To speak at the press conference was Simone Inzaghi alongside Croatian midfielder Milan Badelj. These are the words of the Italian manager, who presents the challenge.

A fundamental match, how is Lazio?

We get angry, because in my opinion, on Sunday we had a good game. But matches must be closed. There is regret for the results, not for our performances. Genoa is one of those matches – it is behind us now. We are here in Spain to play a great game, with 100% of our capability.

Compared to 7 days ago, do you have more certainties?

The first leg was decided by one counter-attacker. We could have equalized through Marusic and Correa, but we didn’t. The second half was played better, with a couple of chances created. Tomorrow we need two goals to move on – we will need to be brave in this important game and show a lot of personality to play in such a stadium.

The players called for the match?

We have 19 players with three goalkeepers – we have Zitelli of the Primavera with us. Parolo and Luis Alberto wanted to train with the team, but only Parolo has been called up, his ankle has improved a lot. Milinkovic-Savic had three training sessions, I could have also called upon him for the Genoa clash. After the morning exercises, I will decide on the formation.

Why so many injuries?

We evaluated this emergency. Surely, the mental and physical effort of the 120′ with Inter is to be kept in mind. Many games have influenced this situation.  It is an emergency. But Sunday, despite the situation we were in, the team played well.

How will the match be tackled?

It will be a long match; we will need two goals to move on. We must also think about the many situations in the match and let them turn in our favor. Despite the changes, the emergency, the formation, we must play our game.
