Danilo Cataldi scored Lazio’s third last night as the Biancocelesti brushed city rivals Roma to one side in a strong 3-0 victory in the Derby della Capitale. Lazio took the lead through Felipe Caicedo before doubling their lead from a Ciro Immobile penalty. Lazio’s third goal came in the closing moments of regulation time, with Danilo Cataldi scoring an important goal to complete the rout.
Speaking on Instagram after the game, Cataldi said the following:
“I’ve been dreaming of a night like that for a lifetime, a Lazio like that, I’ve made a dream come true. It was an unforgettable night, to win the derby, to win by 3 to 0 and to score goals, under the Nord; now we run, even stronger, towards our goals.”
