Belgian goalkeeper Silvio Proto joined Lazio during the summer but has, so far, had very little to do. The experienced shot-stopper has made the odd cameo appearance since joining from Olympiakos but Thomas Strakosha has kept ahold of his place in the starting XI.

Speaking to Il Messaggero, Proto revealed more about his start to life in Rome:

“At 35 I continue to grow; I’ve never trained like this before but it’s a good thing. I have always wanted to play in the Italian league and when the opportunity presented itself I did not have a doubt. I am in love with Rome, every day I work at my best with Graubünden, but also with Strakosha and the other goalkeepers.”
