Marco Parolo: ‘We are hunters; I’m happy to be here’

Lazio’s Italian central midfielder Marco Parolo is often seen as the under-appreciated cog in the heart of the Lazio midfield; often outshone by the offensive performances of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Luis Alberto, and the defensive antics of Lucas Leiva, but very rarely ever the star of the show himself. Regardless of this, the Italian is instrumental to the Lazio team and Parolo has spoken to Lazio Style Radio about life at the club:

I’m happy to be here, I‘m always happy when there’s football. This is an important historical field and it was an honor for me to be able to play on it. Passion for football is beautiful, it is a beautiful and fun sport. I’m happy, it is a nice experience.

“Fiorentina? Our goal is not to stop and move on so that we do not throw away good things.  We have paved the way and we have to put everything into it to achieve our goal. Better to be hunters than hares. We are hunters and we will try to catch the prey.”
