Following a surprise call-up to be a part of the matches in February, Andre Anderson has been selected by Italy Under 20 manager Paolo Nicolato to participate in the Torneo 8 Nazioni. Born in Brazil, but holding an Italian passport thanks to his mother, this means that the Lazio owned player – currently on loan in the Serie B with Salernitana – will be involved in the upcoming matches for the Azzurrini: “I’m very happy for this opportunity,” stated the 1999 born player on Instagram.
The nation will firstly take on the Czech Republic on the 21st of March at the “Carlo Speroni” of Busto Arstizio (16.00) and lastly Switzerland at the Kleinfeld Stadium in Kriens (March 25th at 7 pm); these are two very important fixtures for the team in view of the World Cup which takes place from the 23rd of May to the 15th of June in Poland.
