Vincenzo Grifo will be a name familiar for many Laziale. It seems as though the Italian wide-midfielder has been linked with a move to Lazio for two or three consecutive seasons now.
According to what has been reported by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, Lazio are once again chasing Grifo’s signature; the Italian having a contract expiring with Hoffenheim in the summer of 2022.
Grifo is currently out on loan with fellow Bundesliga club Freiburg; where he has scored four times and assisted a further six in just 15 appearances so far. The Italian can play on either wing and as an attacking midfielder; making him not only a valuable and versatile asset but also an important squad player.
