Liverpool’s Bobby Adekanye could be Lazio’s first signing in the upcoming summer transfer window. Working behind the scenes, as per usual, sporting director Igli Tare is said to have reached an agreement with the 20-year-old attacker and his agent; Adekanye’s contract expires this June and it is reported that he will not extend his contract at Anfield. This season, the former Barcelona man has played in 13 matches: nine Premier League 2 appearances, where he has tallied one goal and two assists, and four UEFA Youth League matches, where he has tallied two goals. An important note: Adekanye is capable of playing anywhere in the front line, whether the left or right wing or up top in a striking role. With Simone Inzaghi set on continuously using his preferred 3-5-2 formation, if this deal is to occur, where would the Nigerian fit in? This is exactly what Vittorio Campanile takes a look at in his debut for The Laziali.
