Lazio have published their interim financial report ending December 31, 2018. The numbers are positive and bode well with what the Biancocelesti are trying to do. As reported by the Corriere dello Sport, on June 30th Lazio’s, profits reached 36.7 million – a record figure. At the end of the year – or after the first part of the current season – they dropped to 5.45 million as President Claudio Lotito spent almost everything on the market. With the remaining funds, the Italian businessman raised the salary cap for players. The salaries of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic and Ciro Immobile have increased, in addition to the money paid to their agents (1 million euros to Immobile’s agent and 1.5 million euros to Milinkovic-Savic’s agent). In total, the 36.5 million of salaries in the first semester of 2017/2018, have increased up to 41.6 million (from June to December).
