Lazio remains in search for a left wing-back. Riza Durmisi, who arrived this past summer from Real Betis, has not convinced the Biancocelesti and with Jordan Lukaku seeming unable to recover from injury, and Senad Lulic who is now 33 years old, Igli Tare and Claudio Lotito know it is time to make moves. As reported in the latest edition of Corriere dello Sport, the Roman club are said to have set their sights on Hellas Verona’s Mohamed Salim Fares, who is currently on loan at SPAL in the Serie A TIM. A left-footed footballer, the 23-year-old Algerian has collected 26 appearances and 2 goals in the top flight of Italian football this season; he is versatile, able to play as a left midfielder, defender, or wing-back. Even if SPAL redeems the player for 2.5 million euros at the end of the season, when a large offer arrives, Gli Estensi will not be able to decline. Various suitors are said to be following the 1996 born footballer – Lazio will have to act quickly if they are to strike a deal.
