After Christian Panucci’s dismissal, Albania have immediately started looking for a new manager for their national squad. A former Lazio coach could take the reins of the team: Edoardo ‘Edy’ Reja. It is not official yet, but as reported by calciomercato, the agreement should be just steps away from completion. In recent days contact with the ex-Lazio coach has intensified, meaning the white smoke of his appointment should be right around the corner. Reja’s last coaching job was a spell at Atalanta between 2015 and 2016 and has not worked in a managerial capacity since. His two spells at Lazio between 2010 and 2014 made him popular with the Biancoceleste fans, after helping to revitalize a lethargic squad.
