Matias Zaracho: Lazio looking towards Argentine youngster as potential summer signing

The transfer market never sleeps, and Lazio are certainly not waiting for the next opening before looking for their future signings. Although the Serie A TIM is now in its most clinical phase with the fight for the Champions League qualification spots never being so open, sporting director Igli Tare is already working on potential summer purchases for the Biancoceleste club. According to Doble Amarilla in Argentina, Lazio are closely following Federico Matias Zaracho – a young trequartista born in 1998. This year, he has won the Argentine championship with Racing Club de Avellaneda, scoring 3 goals and 3 assists, and made his national team debut on March 26th.

In Argentina, they are convinced: If Lazio finishes in fourth place they would look to sign the youngster, although they would have to fight off competition from Sporting Lisbon and Atletico Madrid. With a release clause of €18m, Racing will be satisfied with this amount and are awaiting formal proposals.
