FIGC prosecutor’s office opens investigation for the actions of Bakayoko and Kessie

There have been no sanctions yet for Tiemoue Bakayoko and Franck Kessie – after the incident in which both players held up Acerbi’s jersey to their home fans – at the end of the Lazio’s visit to the San Siro to face Milan last week. Sports Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea has decided not to place disciplinary measures on the two players for their gesture. However, This decision has forced the FIGC prosecutor’s office to respond. According to ANSA, a group led by Giuseppe Pecoraro has opened an investigation into the behavior of the two Rossoneri players; he has just signed a plea agreement for the case of mockery. This provision is now being examined by the Attorney General, but there are fines set to be handed out: €33,000 to both Bakayoko and Kessie, and €20,000 to Milan (a total of €86,000).
