Bobby Adekanye: “I follow all of Lazio’s matches, 80% chance I sign…”

Negotiations between Lazio and Bobby Adekanye seem to have approached the final stages. The first addition for the 2019/2020 season will almost certainly be the Liverpool winger; the 20-year-old has stated that there is an 80% chance that he signs with the club. This occurred today, as the Nigerian had a long interview with Corriere dello Sport.

I want to make a name for myself. Lazio? I have not yet made a final decision, I will do it within the next two weeks. Signing percentage? 80%! I have been to Rome and they have excellent plans for me, I am very interested in the proposal but I have not yet made a decision: I will do it with my family and my agent.

I have spoken to Igli Tare: he thinks that I can become a good player and that coming to Lazio could be useful for my career. At Lazio I would no longer play to learn but to win and reach goals. I have not yet spoken with Simone Inzaghi.

I’m following all the matches of Lazio, it’s a different league than the English Premier League, but both are very difficult. In Serie A I could enhance my qualities – the hope is to help bring the club into the UEFA Champions League.

Immobile is a very good player, if I came to Lazio we could have great harmony. Correa is also a great player, I could learn a lot from him, we would be a nice attacking three.

I was born as a left wing. In 3-5-2 I can also play as a second striker – if I came to Lazio it would not be a problem to adapt to any role. I’m fast and technical. My Idol? Robben!
