Milan vs Lazio: the best and worst of the 1-0 victory

After a 1-0 victory at the San Siro in the semifinals of the Coppa Italia, a question remains: who was the man of the match in Milan vs Lazio? This is usually an easy decision. However, as every Lazio player performed well, it is quite difficult to choose just one. Bastos was great defensively, but missed two very good chances; Francesco Acerbi, once again, was able to prevent Krzysztof Piatek from scoring for the third time; Ciro Immobile was constantly pressuring and set up the game-winning goal – everybody played well, but in the end, there can only be one ‘man of the match.’ This individual is no other than the goalscorer himself, Joaquin ‘Tucu’ Correa. This is not only because he scored the goal but for all the chances he created. With his skill and speed, the Argentinian was very dangerous, especially in the second half. On the contrary, nobody played poorly for Lazio against Milan, but once again, in the end, you have to pick someone. This individual has to be Sergej Milinkovic-Savic. We were all waiting for Sergej to perform like last year but an injury forced him to leave the match to early; we are hoping that he will be able to play in the Coppa Italia final on My 15th against Atalanta.
