Wednesday’s Coppa Italia match against Milan was one in which Lazio dominated and deservedly won. According to many pundits, the game showed the superiority and strengths of the Biancocelesti over the Rossoneri. One of those who made these comments was Lazio legend Alessandro Nesta. The Perugia coach made these comments to ANSA:
“I’m glad that the Biancocelesti qualified for the Coppa Italia final. The match was won by the strongest team with the strongest players.”
Then he spoke about his friend, Simone Inzaghi. According to Nesta, it is no coincidence that the Biancoceleste coach has already achieved excellent results for several seasons, as he is a well prepared and skilled coach. Finally, the former Lazio captain commented on the clubs ability to discover great talent:
“Correa and Milinkovic-Savic could have been bought by any team, but instead they arrived in Formello.”
