Moggi: “In January, Lotito received a great offer for Immobile”

Ciro Immobile has been leading the lines for Lazio for the past three seasons. A total of 129 matches played, 85 goals, and 28 assists to his name with the Biancocelesti, he arrived in the Capital from Sevilla for a fee of approximately €9.5 million – definitely some of the best business performed by the management of the club. Although currently experiencing a difficult time in front of goal, with just one goal in the last seven Serie A matches, the affection from the fans towards the Neapolitan striker is stronger than ever; the white and light blue colours are now similar to that of a second skin for Ciro. To speak about the Italian international was his agent Alessandro Moggi, interviewed by Tuttomercatoweb.com.

“Ciro has a long contract with Lazio [until 30.06.2023] and I don’t think there is the will to leave Lazio, just as Lazio does not intend to sell Immobile. For example, in January, Lotito received a great request from China but refused it to keep him in Rome. It is true, the market never sleeps and we’ll see for the player. But to date, I can say that Immobile will remain where he is”.
