Joaquin Correa has been Lazio’s signing of the season this year, after the Argentine completed a move to the Biancocelesti from Sevilla last summer. Since then, the Argentine forward has become an important outlet in Lazio’s attacking line; scoring 6 goals and contributing a further 10 assists in 40 appearances.
Reports in the past few weeks have suggested that Lazio’s Serie A rivals Napoli are interested in Correa and will look to make him a part of their team in the summer. However, fresh reports from LazioNews.eu suggest that another Italian team has joined the race to sign Correa, Inter Milan. Inter are looking at perhaps parting ways with star forward Mauro Icardi and will have both an Icard-sized void and a surplus of money for the upcoming window if they are to part with their star forward; perhaps paving the way for Correa.
Fortunately, Correa seems to enjoy life at Lazio and will hopefully remain for years to come and become a big part of this Lazio side.
