According to ANSA’s reports, the FIGC prosecutor’s office has asked for the video of Claudio Ranieri’s press conference to examine his words about Lazio’s game against Inter in 2010, and make a disciplinary analysis on the matter. The sentence that has caught the attention of the prosecutor was “Così è stato, così fu” (so it was, so it was), uttered by the Giallorossi coach after a journalist asked about the Lazio vs Inter game of 2010, where it was alleged that Lazio intentionally played weakly in order to stop Roma winning the scudetto in 2010. According to a qualified source, the prosecutor, Giuseppe Pecoraro, will complete the proceedings against Ranieri at the end of this round of the championship.
