As reported by La Nuova Ferrara, the performances from Lazio midfielder Alessandro Murgia at SPAL are said to be convincing the management of Gli Estensi to renew his loan with the club. Joining this past January in search of more playing time, the 1996 born Italian has made 11 appearances for Leonardo Semplici since his arrival, playing primarily as a central midfielder. The decision from SPAL is set to take place this summer when Murgia hopes to be involved with the Italian Under 21 side at the Euro 2019 competition, taking place in Italy; the club only have Claudio Lotito and Simone Inzaghi of the Biancocelesti to convince first. Murgia’s contract with Lazio expires on 30.06.2022, so he still has some time to prove his worth away from home and make his way into the Eagles starting eleven.
