Lazio Primavera have today earned qualification back to Primavera 1 with a 2-1 play-off win over Spal. The Biancocelesti were relegated from Italy’s top youth flight last season but have promptly returned and we are looking forward to seeing how the young eagles perform next season.
Scaffidi put Lazio up in just seven minutes, giving the team a flying start to the play-off. However, just three minutes later, Salvi equalised for Spal and the game was back on.
Both teams had chances to win the match but it was Lazio who edged in front when Luan Capanni supplied the ball to Cerbara, the number 20 giving the Biancocelesti a return to the top flight.
