Report: Felipe Caicedo could move on this summer

Felipe Caicedo has had a turbulent couple seasons in Rome to say the least, but the second half of this season has seen him regain some Lazio fans’ confidence. The Ecuadorian has tallied eight goals and two assists in the Serie A this season, compared to only three goals and one assist last season. This improvement has drawn interest from some clubs in China and the United Arab Emirates. It has even been reported by Radiosei that tomorrow might be the last match FeliPanther plays for the Biancoceleste.

The 30-year-old currently makes €1.6 million and would presumably only leave if he got a pay increase as his contract runs until 2020. Lazio will be looking to recoup as much of the €2.5 million spent to bring him in from Espanyol in 2017. Additionally, his departure would clear up space in the squad for one Wesley Moares or Antonio Sanabria to arrive as have both been heavily linked to Lazio over the past year.
