Report: Spal’s Lazzari to Lazio if Marusic departs

A name that has never been removed from Lazio‘s transfer list is Spal’s Manuel Lazzari.

Last summer, there had been contacts with Gli Estensi to sign the player, but no economic agreement had been found. This resulted in him staying in Ferrara to attract interest and increase his value.

Now 25 years of age, today, Radiosei reports that a new possibility has opened up to bring the Italian international to Rome this upcoming summer. This relates to Adam Marusic.

The Montenegrin international has acquired interest from a few clubs in the Bundesliga and his agent is evaluating the proposals. If one of the offers meets the requests and needs of both parties, they will alert Igli Tare and a possible departure could occur.

If Marusic is to leave, this would leave a gap in the right flank, even if Romulo is to be fully bought out from Genoa, as Dusan Basta is almost certain to leave the club this summer. This means that Lazio will need to reinforce the flank, and who better than Lazzari.

This season, the player has appeared in 32 matches for Spal. Although he has not scored a goal, he has provided nine assists and has been a constant threat in attack, while a securit in defense.
