Tottenham chasing Thomas Strakosha; Lazio looking at Lafont

According to what has been reported by Cittaceleste.it, Tottenham Hotspur are serious about signing Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha. Strakosha has been linked away from Lazio since last summer, when it appeared as though Liverpool and Spurs were both interested in signing the Albanian. However, nothing concrete emerged and Strakosha stayed in Rome for this season.

However, Spurs are now ready to offer around €40m for the Albanian goalkeeper as they seek to source a long-term replacement for ageing French goalkeeper Hugo Lloris. It would be difficult for Lazio to refuse an offer in this region but, if reports are to be believed, Lazio would be cleverly reinvesting the money.

Reports suggest Lazio are looking at Fiorentina goalkeeper Alban Lafont, who signed for the Viola for €10m last summer. The young French shot-stopper is full of potential and would be an ideal replacement if Strakosha were to leave…
