Pedullà on Wesley to Lazio: “The white smoke can arrive”

Alfredo Pedullà, a well known Italian football Journalist, commented on the rumors regarding Wesley Moraes to Lazio this summer transfer window. 22 years of age, the Brazilian striker currently plays for Club Brugge in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League; this past season he collected ten goals and nine assists in 28 matches. Followed by Sporting Director Igli Tare since the summer of 2018, the time seems to be now or never if he is to come to Rome to play football in the Biancocelesti colors. As Pedullà stated:

“Wesley Moraes Ferreira da Silva, better known as Wesley, is – and continues to be – a definite goal for the attacking department of Lazio in view of next season. The race to sign the player will restart once again after interest last summer; white smoke can arrive.”

In recent days, there is said to have been new and productive contacts with the Belgian Club: the parties are trying to come to an agreement for the 1996 born footballer, who has been identified as the ideal profile by Lazio to back-up Immobile (or to even possibly start alongside him). As it stands, the two clubs are separated by a fee of four million euros, but Claudio Lotito seems keen on proposing the inclusion of some bonuses to achieve this number.
