Agent of Szoboszlai: “Lazio? There is obvious interest from big clubs”

Lazio once again looks toward Red Bull Salzburg. The Austrian club, a breeding ground of talents from which the unfortunate Berisha also emerged, was again targeted by the sporting director Tare. The name is not new, among the media, he has already been talked about. This is Dominik Szoboszlai, a Hungarian midfielder who blossomed in the spring.

At the age of 18, he finished the season with five goals and six assists. A star in the making, Lazio has their eyes on him, however, it will not be easy though and there may be important developments next week. General interest was confirmed by his agent, Matyas Esterhazy, exclusively to Lalaziosiamonoi.it microphones, who replied to the question of whether there was also Lazio interested in the player.

“Dominik is one of the greatest prospects of European football at the moment. It is obvious that big clubs show a serious interest in him. At Salzburg, he has grown a lot and I am sure there is still a lot to see. Being part of a winning team and having the chance to play in the Champions League still make Salzburg an excellent club for my client”. 

He must choose, therefore, between staying and growing in an environment that is still important or a future in a decidedly more competitive championship.

“Comparison with Milinkovic? Milinkovic-Savic is a top player. Obviously, it’s amazing to see Dominik compared to him, but I think it’s too early to talk about a farewell to Salzburg”.
