Lazio and Genoa are no strangers as the two sides have come together for several deals over the past few seasons. Most recently was Lazio’s loan with a €2 million option to buy for the Ital-Brazilian Romulo. It was initially thought that the Biancocelesti had taken up their option but recent reports from Radiosei suggest that they have until June 20 to make the move permanent. In the meantime, Lazio are showing interest in the Grifone’s Davide Biraschi. With Wallace almost surely on his way out this summer the Italian’s experience in Serie A and versatility, he can play in either a three-man or four-man defensive line, would be major selling points for coach Simone Inzaghi. There have been rumors of Lazio’s interest in the 24-year-old dating back to last season so hopefully, President Claudio Lotito can finally close the deal for the Roman-born defender.
