Game of Thrones, Night King: ‘Forza Lazio! I hope the team wins every year’

HBO’s hit television show Game of Thrones may have come to an end but it doesn’t stop the award-winning series from dominating headlines in about every field possible, even in the Lazio world. Giving an interview to LaLazioSiamoNoi, Vladimir Furdik, who played the Night King in the show, commented on Rome and Lazio…

I didn’t think my character could reach the general public in this way. On the set one does not have the awareness of how crucial one’s role in the show’s history can become. Who would I see doing well on the throne in the end? I say Tyrion Lannister, a great little man.

Many years ago I came to Rome, honestly I don’t know how much time has passed. I went into a bar for a beer and we met Poborsky , at the time he was a footballer from Lazio. We resembled each other a lot, everyone pointed out to me and said, “Guys, there’s Karel …”. But I was there just to shoot Gangs of New York. And then the White Walkers are of the same colour – biancocelesti … so yes, I can say it, Forza Lazio! I hope the team wins every year, I love Rome and Italy, I wish you all the joys possible.”
