It is official, after weeks of speculation, Simone Inzaghi has signed a new contract with Lazio. It is believed that, after rumours linking him with a move to either Juventus or Milan, a meeting took place between the Italian coach and the Lazio upper management. Inzaghi would have been made assurances and has eventually decided to sign on.
Inzaghi’s new deal with Lazio will see him contracted to the club until 2021, with Lazio publishing a statement on their official website which reads:
“The choice to continue this journey together is the result of shared planning, strengthens the bond between the parties and certifies the unity of intent necessary to achieve the set sporting goals.”
